Chandler adults offered Mark Twain-style tour

The Tumbleweed Recreation Center is a hub for the community, and in late February, it will be offering the public a chance to climb aboard for a day out on the water.

This Chandler venue will serve as the meet-up point for an outing that will take them to the heart of the wild, as they go for an outing on the steamboat Dolly. Seats are still available at the time of writing, and it is geared towards those ages 55 and up.

Passengers aboard the boat may be able to spot an assortment of wildlife on the shore, with species such as bighorn sheep and bald eagles among the possible sightings. It is intended to be a relaxing voyage, and when they return to the steamer’s berth, ticketholders can go for a bite to eat at one of the local diners.

Attendees will travel to the boarding area together on a bus, and the meet-up time is scheduled for 10:30 am.

Recreation centers are often hubs for the communities they serve. A poster printing company can help to make sure the public knows about any activities on the way in their hometown.

This afternoon of viewing nature from out on the water is set for Tuesday, February 27. Tumbleweed Recreation Center is located at 745 East Germann Road in Chandler.
