Bruster's to open in Chandler
Cool treats are on the way to residents of a hot climate. According to an ABC article, Bruster's Real Ice Cream, a Pennsylvania-based company, just announced it will be opening its first store to be
located in Arizona, and it has chosen Chandler for the inaugural effort.
Trinette and Kevin Markey are the owners of the new franchise, but have not found a location for their store. However, they say they will open at some point during this summer. Last year, Bruster's expanded into Southern California, opening stores in Cerritos and Cypress.
Each Bruster's location makes its own ice cream, fresh in-house. The company prides itself on using only fresh ingredients, and having trained ice cream experts mix the ingredients by hand to make the treats. There are more than 150 flavors available, and each store can produce 24 flavors per day, which promises lots of choices for customers.
Bruster's opened its first store in 1989, in Bridgewater, Pennsylvania, and now has locations in many states in the east and south, including Alabama, Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. It has also expanded internationally, to South Korea and Guyana.
Opening any store is always a special occasion. Franchisees and operators of all types of enterprises can work with printing companies to create items such as banners, which can be hung at the location to enhance the opening.
