Woodinville welcomes the colder months
A citywide party will celebrate the winter season in Woodinville.
Celebrate Woodinville Winterfest includes events scattered throughout the city. DeYoung Park is the location for performances by the choirs from the Leota Middle School and Wellington Elementary School. Families can take pictures with Santa, make wreaths, and enjoy holiday treats. The tree lighting will take place at 5:30 pm.
At Molbak’s, a local nursery and garden center, workers have created the popular Poinsettia Tree, which will serve as a backdrop for photos. The café will be serving coffee and Danish Kringle pastry, and holiday carolers will perform from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. There will be two readings of “Arcani and the Tree of Dreams,” a musical story based on a Bolivian folktale, at 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
In the Schoolhouse District, visitors will find the “Wine Walk Row” Tour, the Woodinville Farmers’ Market, the Candy Cane Hunt, firepits with sweet treats and s’mores, and the YMCA Holiday Breakfast.
Woodin Creek Village will be the place to find pop-up shops, live music, carriage rides, hot cocoa, a light display, and Santa himself.
Celebrate Woodinville Winterfest takes place Saturday, December 2, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Organizers of events like this, which is scattered among various locations, can use flyer printing to create a map of all the venues and a schedule of events.
