An upcoming concert in Woodinville will celebrate a legendary artist.
A musician who says he was “hooked” the first moment he saw Elton John now recreates his performances. Electric Boots - Elton John Time Machine is the brainchild of David Walthew, who first caught a glimpse of Elton John when the star appeared on The Muppet Show, where he sang Crocodile Rock while wearing a pair of his outrageous sunglasses. Walthew became a fan instantly and decided to find a way to recreate the singer’s magic, so audiences today can see a show that is as close to Elton John in his prime as possible.
Walthew uses costumes and accessories to recreate the star’s performances so that the audience has the full experience of an actual Elton John concert, but he goes beyond the music. Walthew takes the time to talk about the stories that back up the songs, adding context to the connection between the music and its inspiration.
Fans can expect to hear hits like Candle in the Wind, Rocket Man, Daniel, and Sacrifice, which was a No. 1 hit in the UK. When they book shows like this, organizers can use poster printing to help boost attendance by creating advertisements for them.
Electric Boots - Elton John Time Machine will appear at the Chelan Ridge Winery Tasting Room in Woodinville on November 7. The venue is located at 19151, 144th Avenue Northeast.
