Woodinville wreath-making date set

A popular annual event is returning to Woodinville to help people get ready for the holidays.

Members of the Sammamish Valley Grange are hosting Woodinville’s enjoyable wreath making event. The rings on which the wreaths are based will be supplied, but as always, organizers are asking participants to search their gardens and yards for materials to use on the wreath. These could include branches, cones, berries, springs, leaves, and anything that will enhance the wreath, which will also ensure the end products are unique.

Grange members are charging ten dollars for the wreath rings. Proceeds will benefit the Sammamish Valley Alliance as well as the Sammamish Valley Grange. Live music will be provided by the Market Minstrels, who are returning to join in the fun. They are a band of singers and songwriters who are based in Woodinville. They got together in 2016 and play only their own original music, featuring melodica, harmonica, flue, piano, or guitar, depending on the tune.

The wreath making will take place in the Grange Hall on December 7 from 1.00 pm until 4.00 pm. The hall is located at 14654 148th Avenue Northeast. There will be refreshments available, and everyone is encouraged to bring their own treats or cookies to share. Everyone is welcome no matter their age, and there is no admission charge. Advertising craft events using poster printing services can really allow for some creativity and colorful designs.
