An upcoming event in Woodinville gives attendees the chance to be the detective who solves a baffling case.
The setting is 1986, when rock’s most glittering names are backstage before the show that promises to be the biggest event in years. Unfortunately, tensions are skyrocketing, people are spilling secrets and some of music’s largest egos are colliding, a situation that ends with a death before the last note fades away. This is where people attending the event come in, because it’s up to them to solve the mystery. When they plan events like this, organizers can use brochure printing to create programs for attendees, explaining the game.
Freebush Cellars is hosting the evening, an interactive murder mystery set in 1986, when bands like Metallica, Guns ‘N Roses, and Bon Jovi were packing arenas. Things start off with dinner, which includes fettucine with the choice of marinara or Alfredo sauce, served with sausage and/or chicken, along with warm rolls and Caesar salad. Dessert is a slice of pumpkin pie. After dinner it’s time to enjoy a glass of wine and start solving the mystery.
People attending the dinner are encouraged to dress like 80’s rockers, channeling their favorite glam queen or hair metal star. Extra points for fingerless gloves and leg warmers.
Murder at the Mixtape: An 80's Rock Concert Mystery Dinner is scheduled for October 2 at 5.00 pm. Freebush Cellars is at 19495 144th Avenue Northeast, Suite B235, and the price per person is $120.
