Writers & Wine Songwriter Sessions schedules Woodinville event

An upcoming event brings music and song to Woodinville.

The Writers & Wine Songwriter Sessions is returning to the city with a performance at Maryhill Winery. The upcoming performance is a two-night event, and features Brian Davis, Steve Bogard, and Justin Wilson. They will not only perform songs, but share the stories behind them.

Brian Davis is a songwriter and performer, who has toured with major country stars like Miranda Lambert, and George Jones. As a songwriter, Davis has written hits for some of the biggest stars in Nashville, including Brantley Gilbert, for whom he wrote “One Hell of an Amen,” which hit No. 1; and “Memory I Don’t Mess With,” which Lee Brice performed.

Steve Bogard is one of the most successful songwriters in Nashville. He has written ten songs that made it to No. 1, including two songs for George Strait; “Prayin’ for Daylight” for Rascal Flatts, and “Every Mile a Memory” for Dierks Bentley. His music has brought him over twenty awards from SESAC, BMI, and ASCAP, as well as two Grammy nominations for Best Country Song.

Justin Wilson’s songs have been recorded by artists like Morgan Wallen, Dustin Lynch, and Blake Shelton, and his singles like “Kiss You in the Morning” recorded by Michael Ray; “We Went” by Randy Houser, and “Drunk Me” by Michael Tenpenny have impacted country music.

The sessions are scheduled for November 21 and 22. Performances like this can be enhanced if organizers work with poster printing on promotional materials.
