The fourth Korey's Joy Drive is now underway in Vancouver, as the city collects warm clothing and toys.
Vancouver is collecting new hats, socks, gloves, and winter coats suitable for both adults and children, as well as collecting new, unwrapped toys for children. Everything that's donated will be taken to organizations including the Children's Center, Open House Ministries, and the Randall Children's Hospital. Organizers of drives like this can use poster printing to identify collection points.
People who would like to help may drop off their donations at any one of several locations, such as the front desk of the Firstenburg Community Center on 136th Avenue, Latte Da Coffee House on East 39th Street, the front desk of the Marshall Community Center on East McLoughlin Boulevard, Natalia's Cafe on 4th Avenue in Camas, and the lobby of Vancouver's City Hall on 6th Street. All are in Vancouver except for Natalia's Cafe:
Other locations where locals can drop off seasonal goods are the front desks of Vancouver Fire Station 5 on NE 63rd Street, the Vancouver Police West Precinct on Stapleton Road, the Vancouver Police East Precinct on East 155th Avenue, the Vancouver Operations Center on General Anderson Road, and the Water Resources Education Center on SE Columbia Way.
The gifts will be collected through December 14, and delivered the week of December 17.
