Hello Kitty fun for Vancouver

An upcoming event in Vancouver features one of Japan’s most popular exports.

The Hello Kity Café Truck is on the way to Vancouver, where it will be parked at the Vancouver Mall for a day. There are two mobile pop-up Hello Kitty trucks in operation, one in the Western United States, and the other in the East. The first one hit the road in 2014 and was so successful the concept expanded.

Sanrio, Hello Kitty’s parent company, has not shared photos of 2025 merchandise, but they have provided a list of items available. This year is the tenth anniversary of the trucks, and Hello Kitty itself turned 50 in 2024, so the upcoming tour is a double celebration. The trucks will have six items celebrating the trucks, three celebrating Hello Kitty, and two general items.

The six items available to commemorate the trucks’ success are a pin, tumbler, mug, keychain, and two different sizes of thermal bottles. A tote bag, shirts, and patch set are available for the 50th anniversary, and the general items are an ornament and a ceramic mug.

The truck will be at the Vancouver Mall on September 20, parked near the Outback Steakhouse on the south side of the center. The truck will be open from 10.00 am until 7.00 pm. When organizers plan this type of event, they can use posters, which they find at print shops, to promote them.
