A tribute band for one of the best-selling musicians in history will play in Vancouver.

Innocent Men is a tribute to Billy Joel, aka the “Piano Man.” The group is based in Portland, Oregon, and plays Joel’s music with authenticity and heart. Pianist and vocalist Kevin Burkhart leads the ensemble, creating the signature sounds of the original artist with accuracy. The group does a deep dive into the entire Billy Joel catalog, from “Big Shot,” with is a track on the 1979 album “52nd Street” to “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant,” a seven-minute epic that has become a fan favorite. Rolling Stone called it the 324th best song ever written. Other songs on their setlist are Billy Joel favorites including “Always a Woman to Me,” “Piano Man,” “Still Rock and Roll to Me,” and of course, “An Innocent Man.”

Billy Joel’s career stretches over five decades and includes the release of 13 studio albums and 45 music videos. He has sold over 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the highest selling artists in history. He has six Grammys, including “Album of the Year” for “52nd Street, and both Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Just the Way You Are.”
