Summer brings outdoor fun to many communities, including Vancouver, which is getting set to start an outdoor movie series.
The city has scheduled eight movies that will be presented at various city parks, all for free. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, as well as picnics and other ready-to-eat food to enjoy while the movie plays. In addition, vendors may have non-alcoholic beverages and snacks available at some of the parks. Brochure printing can be used to create handouts for attendees at events like this, listing the entire schedule.
The films will start around dusk, although the exact start time will change due to the weather. The films begin July 9, and the program will be:
• July 9 is “Trolls World Tour,” which will be shown at Fruit Valley Park
• July 16 is the classic “Goonies,” to be shown at Fisher Basin Park
• July 23 brings “Raya and the Last Dragon” to Edgewood Park
• July 30 is “The Croods: A New Age” at the Fort Vancouver Historic Site
• August 6 brings “Wonder Woman 1984” to Washington School Park
• August 13 the film is “Frozen II” at Hearthwood Park
• August 20 is “Onward” at the Bagley Community Park
• The last film is “Scoob!” on August 27 at Oakbrook Park
All the films are rated PG except “Wonder Woman,” which is PG-13. The showings may be canceled in the event of bad weather.
