A major organization supporting Washington businesses is hosting an upcoming meeting.
The Association of Washington Business (AWB) is having its spring meeting. The AWB is the largest and oldest statewide business association in the state. The almost 7,000 association members represent some 700,000 employees.
Although business is still not operating as it has in the past, the AWB is holding the conference to bring employers from across Washington state together to learn about the policy and economic issues that can affect their businesses. Among the areas that will be discussed are long-term care, state policy, job creation and retention, entrepreneurship, innovation, and much more. Speakers include the mayor of Vancouver, Anne McEnery-Ogle, and Jennifer Baker, President of the Columbia River Economic Development Council.
The day before the conference, May 10, attendees will have a chance to network at a reception being held at Ripple Space at Vancouver’s remodeled waterfront. May 11 will be a full day of content. Meals included are breakfast May 11 and 12, and a cocktail reception before dinner on May 11. Lunch on May 11 will be on the town in Vancouver. Events like this are the perfect place for attendees to exchange Business Cards.
The in-person conference is scheduled to take place at the Hilton Hotel in Vancouver. A virtual event is also available. Registration will close on May 6. The AWB has listed local hotels, so anyone interested should explore those options.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
