Special event in Kennewick supports children

An upcoming dinner and auction is scheduled in Kennewick.

The Bechtel Corporation is presenting the 24th annual Wine Fête, a fundraiser on behalf of the services and programs provided by the Children’s Developmental Center, an organization dedicated to supporting children faced with development delays and disabilities.

The center is almost 48 years old, and as its 50th birthday draws closer, it has already begun its Capital Campaign. The campaign is an effort to raise funds to increase the services available to members of the community. The organization will talk about the milestones they reached this year and plans to continue the programs that have proven to improve the lives of families and children in the community.

The center understands that some children begin their lives with a delay in speech and language, emotional or social growth, or other areas. Specialists at the center assist families to help their children achieve their potential, because improving early learning experiences can lead to success in later life.

The event begins with a reception featuring sparkling wine, followed by a four-course dinner where each course will be paired with a complementary wine. After dinner, both a silent auction and a live auction are planned, and dancing will start when the live auction is finished.

The Wine Fête is scheduled for February 7 from 5.30 pm until 11.30 pm. The venue is the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick. Events like this can succeed when organizers use poster printing to create advertising.
