Renowned all-female tribute band visits Kennewick

An all-female tribute band for AC/DC is on the way to Kennewick.

Hell’s Belles have gained a reputation for their talent, musicianship, and authenticity. They first got together in 2000 in Seattle, founded by singer Om Johair and guitarist Amy Stolzenbach, with Laura Derig and Sylvia Weidemann as the group’s original drummer and guitarist, respectively, and Heather Madden as the group’s original bassist. The lineup has changed over time, but the dedication to the music of AC/DC has never wavered.

The band toured worldwide during the first years after they formed but cut back by 2004. However, they have recently resumed an active touring schedule. Among the people who have praised Hell’s Belles is Angus Young, an original member of AC/DC, who said:

“The best AC/DC band I’ve ever heard? There was an all-girl band in America, Hells Belles.”

Fallout is also playing at this event. They are a cover band from the Pacific Northwest that plays the hits from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and more.

The concert is part of the Clover Island Concert Series, which also includes performances by Colorblind on August 5, Groove Principal on August 12, and Snacks at Midnight along with The Dropouts on August 19. These are community shows and do not charge admission.

Hell’s Belles and Fallout will perform on August 9, with the show starting at 7.00 pm. This is a ticketed event. When they plan events like this, organizers can use poster printing to create advertisements for them.
