What's Happening in Kennewick, WA…

Local musician coming home to Kennewick

A musician from the Kennewick area will be back to entertain an audience from his home-town area soon.

Zac Burrell is a native of Pasco, and will be appearing in Kennewick, at the Copper Top Tap House. Burrell is known for his blend of pop, rock, and country.

Burrell’s style and career were shaped early in his life, when he began playing drums at age three. His uncle, seeing the boy’s talent, gave him a drum set and he and his father played rock classics from Rush, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and others together, while his mother was a fan of Motown giants like Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, adding pop to the mix. The final ingredients were the bands current at the time including Eminem, Creed, and Hansen. They all combined into Burrell’s distinctive sound.

He formed a band in high school and went on to college, but left in 2013 to perform full-time, drumming for Night Argent on their national tour. He has continued to appear with them as well as playing with Stompin’ Ground, a local cover band featuring country music. He also performs as a solo artist, and released his debut EP “Part One” in 2018.

Burrell is set to play on July 25; Copper Top Tap is at 5453 Ridgeline Drive in Kennewick. Using flyer printing, organizers of events like this can develop an economical way to publicize them in the local area.
