A special Halloween event is coming to Kennewick.
The Big Bro Joe Foundation is hosting the BBJF 7th Annual Halloween Trunk or Treat Event. The Foundation is inviting organizations and businesses from throughout the Tri-Cities region to help the event by buying a booth. The organizers hope to have as many as 80 decorated trunks and booths available at the event, which brought out 4,200 adults and children in 2025.
For those who would like to participate, the fee is $100, but the event is free for people attending. For the registration fee, participants will receive space in a booth or trunk at one of the biggest Halloween events in the area, as well as a chance to connect with thousands of people.
The event is suitable for local organizations, teams, first responders, civic groups, nonprofits, and small businesses, who have an opportunity to discuss their goods and services, as well as the chance to help children make lasting memories. Live music will be part of the fun, provided by DJ Sean Da Don, BBJF’s official DJ. Organizers of this type of event can help promote them by using poster printing to create advertising.
Trunk or Treat events have become popular in recent years, replacing traditional trick-or-treat events and making the fun safer for children. The BFFJ Trunk or Treat is set for Sunday, October 25, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, in the parking lot of the Toyota Center, which is at 7000 West Grandridge Boulevard.
