Long-standing traditional display returns to Kennewick

A fabulous display of lights is planned for Kennewick.

For over 20 years, Kennewick has celebrated the holiday season with lights, thanks to the Senske Light Show, which is now a cherished winter tradition.

Workers took 1,500 man-hours to install the more than 500,000 lights that comprise the sparkling event. Not only that, but the lights are synced to a soundtrack of traditional seasonal music that creates a unique experience that is suitable for everyone in the family.

The show can be enjoyed by both those on foot, and visitors in vehicles. People who drive through the light show should set their radios to 90.3 FM to hear the soundtrack that matches the lights. As they move through the show, visitors will find various additional moments to enjoy. These include selfie stations set up throughout the display, and a chance to meet Santa Claus when dropping off a donation.

The show itself lasts approximately 30 minutes, and in addition, attendees can drop letters to Santa in the north Pole Mailbox. Food vendors will also be on hand.

The Senske Light Show starts December 1 and continues throughout the month. The location is the Senske headquarters at 400 North Quay Street. The show runs every night from 5.00 pm until 12.00 am, and while there is no admission charge, non-perishable donations will be gratefully accepted on behalf of 2nd Harvest. To promote events like this, organizers may decide to use poster printing to create advertising.
