Kennewick volunteers needed for upcoming concert

The TobyMac’s Hits Deep Tour will be in Kennewick in a few weeks and organizers are looking for volunteers.

The event is expected to bring a huge audience to the venue. Various types of volunteer categories are seeking locals to assist with the myriad tasks involved in presenting a large event of this type.

The Food for the Hungry volunteers will be needed to help with sponsorships for children. They will be asked to walk through the aisles at the venue, distributing packets and answering any questions. They may be asked to be available at a designated table to assist with tasks. The timeframe is from 5:30 to 10:15 pm. The age requirement for this volunteer group is 16 or older, although interested people who are 14 and 15 may assist as long as accompanied by an adult.

The Klove/Altrua volunteer group will be needed from 4:30 pm until end of show. This group will assist with KLOVE/Air1 as well as the Altrua Healthshare tables. The volunteers will be speaking with attendees and participating in photo booths and contests, as well as representing various organizations. A booth will be available where volunteers will take turns staging their time periods. Volunteers for this activity must be at least 18 years of age.

Banner printing creates signage to point out specific areas at large public events, and can be handled by local Print shops.

The TobyMac’s Hits Deep Tour will take place at the Toyota Center on February 26.
