The Office of Representative Dan Newhouse is coordinating a 2021 Job Fair, which will take place in May.
For those seeking employment, the event will bring applicants and employers together from across the Kennewick region. Applicants should plan to attend with several resumés and interview materials.
The event is free for all regional jobseekers and their families. Those wishing to attend should pre-register via Newhouse’s website. While advance registration is not mandatory, doing so will speed up the process on the day of the job fair.
Employers wishing to take part in the job fair should contact (509) 452-3243 and speak to Vicki Holleman-Perez. An updated list of employers is available online. Some of the current employers participating include Kenworth Sales, Richland Police Department, Tyson Foods, Alto Advance, and Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office.
Printing services are available to assist with preparing and printing resumés for job applicants, and this sort of event is also a chance to exchange Business Cards.
The 2021 Job Fair is scheduled at the Three Rivers Convention Center. It will begin at 10:00 am and run through 2:00 pm. It will take place on May 8. The Three Rivers Convention Center is located at 7016 Grandridge Boulevard in Kennewick.
Due to health and safety measures, in-person attendance will be limited. Signing up for a specific timeslot will ensure social distancing is in place. More information is available on Representative Dan Newhouse’s website.
