The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is presenting the 2nd Annual Cancer Crushing Cuisine Cooking Classes in a new format this year.
The Small Bytes session classes will be brought into the comfort of private homes in Kennewick in a virtual setting.
In partnership with Tri-Cities Cancer Center, Tsunami Catering’s Chef Kyle Thornhill is teaming up with Red Mountain Kitchen to present one-hour classes. Discussion will focus on cancer fighting components of ingredients such as produce that can be included in meals.
Prior to the class, a list of kitchen supplies will be provided to participants via no-contact delivery to the address registered. Any other information needed for the class will also be included.
Virtual events are often promoted via Brochures. Brochure printing includes attractive images and compelling content which encourages registration. Contact information should also be included on the Brochures. Local Print shops are available to help with printing projects of this type.
Participants will access the online class via Zoom from a laptop, phone, or tablet. The ingredients and supplies should be in place to make the experience smooth and convenient.
Two dates are scheduled for next month: October 14 with spiced sweet potato soup, or October 28 which will be baked apples with comfort filling. Classes are from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. The cost is $40 per session, of which $20 will go towards supplies and the other $20 will be donated to the TCCC Foundation for the community garden fund.
