The Field of Screams is coming to the Kennewick region during the Halloween season. The haunted maze is a walk through darkness that guarantees to bring fun terror to participants.
A mile-long trail on artificial grass takes the brave souls by the Serial Killers Workshop, Hell Freezes Over and onto the Klondike Bar. Rats are apt to appear on the haunted trail along with other dark surprises. At the halfway point, visitors can jump on a ride filled with zombies that need to be eliminated.
Upon exiting the ride, the path will be pitch black guiding the terrified guests to the horror gate where they will encounter clowns, chainsaws, and zombies.
Posters are often used for outdoor events to help guide people through various areas as they point out features and highlights. The poster printing can have images, bright colors, and graphics.
Participants should wear shoes suited for comfort and weather conditions. Reservations are highly recommended although walk-ins are welcome based on availability. Wait times should be anticipated in all cases.
Organizers recommended a minimum age of 12 to attend based on the content of the event, but parents may use their own judgement. Dates of the Field of Screams are October 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 and 31 between 6:45 pm and midnight. The cost is $35 per person for the Haunt along with Outbreak, or $20 for Outbreak only. The location is 430 Beardsley Road in Richland.
