IT frameworks training in Kennewick

A class is coming up in Kennewick that is designed for IT professionals who want to learn the basics of ITIL frameworks.

ITIL stands for “Information Technology Infrastructure Library,” which is a framework an organization can use to create a model for success, make sure its services are aligned with the needs of its customers, and identify the IT services it provides. ITIL was created in the United Kingdom in the 1980s, to create a standard process for service management and IT support.

The upcoming class is a two-day “boot camp” that will be held in person. It offers two simulation examinations, an ITIL Foundation Exam Voucher, and 16 PDU Certificates. The course is designed for a variety of IT professionals including IT managers and support teams; IT consultants, planners, and architects; systems analysts and administrators; operations managers; process practitioners and owners; application development teams; application management teams; quality analysts; service delivery professionals; and database administrators.

The course is designed so that students will be able to pass the ITIL Foundation examination the first time they take it. They will learn concepts such as IT service management best practices, the responsibilities and roles of service design, and much more.

The venue is a meeting room at the Business Centre in Kennewick-Richland, with the exact location to be confirmed a week before the workshop. The date of the workshop is September 15, and leaders can use brochure printing to create course materials for events like this.
