Detectives wanted for Kennewick games
An event is on the schedule in Kennewick that will appeal to anyone who enjoys detective stories.
CluedUpp Games is a games studio that creates immersive outdoor events, often to enhance team building within companies. However, the events are also just plain fun for anyone who loves mysteries. Participants will become crime scene investigators in “CSI Kennewick,” which will be held outdoors. The amateur sleuths will use codebreaking skills, forensic techniques, and traditional detective work to solve the crime.
Players will begin their day with a briefing, at which time they will be given their starting location. From there, they will travel throughout Kennewick, interrogating suspects, considering clues, and finding evidence that will help them solve the case.
A typical investigation is two to three hours long, and the participants can begin any time between 9.00 am and 2.00 pm on the date of the event. Investigators work in teams, and participants will need to download the CluedUpp app, which will guide them through the game.
Teams are also urged to dress in costume. Prizes will be given for the Best Young Detective (must be under 16), Pawesome Pooch (Best Dog Picture), Best Team Name, Best Team Picture, Fastest Team, and the Best Fancy Dress inspired by CSI.
