What's Happening in Bellingham, WA…

Electronic music duo coming to Bellingham

A duo known for their energy and wit is coming to Bellingham.

The Halluci Nation, an electronic music group, will perform at Wild Buffalo House of Music, entertaining audiences with songs like “Electric Pow Wow Drum,” and “R.E.D.” The band is credited with creating what is called “electric powwow music.”

The Ottawa-based Canadian duo base almost all their works on traditional drum circles, which feature vocal drumming and chanting. They add touches of moombahton, reggae, instrumental hip-hop, and dance music with a dubstep influence to create a distinct sound.

The duo today comprises Cayuga First Nation Ehren “Bear Witness” Thomas, and Tim “2oolman” Hill, who is a Mohawk of the Six Nations of the Grand River. Several other artists who were involved with the group left for personal reasons, and Hill and Thomas decided to continue as a duo.

In 2025, The Halluci Nation reached over 100 million streams via Spotify, the first independent North American Indigenous Artists to do so. They also have over 300K listeners every month. A review says:

“Their energy and positivity is infectious and you can feel the love in the room. Great mix of ages at the show from kids to elders. . . . So gooooood!!”

The show is scheduled for May 10 at 9.00 pm. Wild Buffalo House of Music is located at 208 West Holly Street in Bellingham. To publicize events like this, organizers frequently turn to posters, which can be created at local print shops.
