City-wide celebration to be held in Bellevue

The Experience Bellevue event will be held by city planners later in September.

This is a free event that takes place every two years to highlight the rich cultural diversity of the city, welcome new members of the community to the city, and strengthen neighborhood connections.

The event will enable attendees to participate in family-friendly activities, enjoy multicultural performances, and see the inner workings and tours of the facilities of the city. City leaders will meet with members of the community who will learn more about the places and people that make Bellevue unique. Free coffee and pastries will be served at the event.

There will be dance and music performances, as well as a fire truck on display. The police will offer a demonstration of their drone program. Also at the event will be salsa lessons, discovery workshops, and tours that include mahjong and tai chi, and even a scavenger hunt of City Hall.

Other highlights of the day will be a KidsQuest Kid Zone, vendors with cuisine from around the world, and a storytelling program that highlights how belonging has been built in Bellevue by different members of the community. For events like this, poster printing can provide a promotional spotlight throughout a city.

Experience Bellevue will take place at City Hall on Saturday, September 19 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
