Bellevue to celebrate Independence Day

Downtown Park in Bellevue will be the location for the Bellevue Family 4th, an annual event presented by the Bellevue Collection.

Organizations that sponsor events like this, such as the Bellevue Downtown Association and the city of Bellevue, often turn to poster printing to promote them.

On Tuesday, there will be a Family Fun Zone featuring a kids’ area and family entertainment beginning at 5:00 pm. Lady A will also launch the festivities at that time, performing on the Amazon Entertainment Plaza followed by Laurel Canyon Legacy, a rock and folk band, at 7:00 pm.

There will also be a food court with 11 vendors, among which will be Zieglers Bratwurst Haus, Mexicuban, HP Smokehouse BBQ, and La Panadeia. Additional food trucks will be on the perimeter of the park and will include Nothing Bundt Cakes, Samijon’s Shaved Ice, and Ben & Jerry’s.

Attendees are encouraged to bring water bottles as there will be stations around the park for people to refill their bottles.

There will be a pre-fireworks performance by the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra beginning at 9:15 pm. The colors will be presented by the Honor Guard of the Fire Department at 9:50 pm. The Newport High School Choir will follow this with a performance of the national anthem. The fireworks will be at 10:05 pm and will be synchronized with the performance of the Youth Symphony.
