Bellevue restaurant offers brunch as a taste of the Northwest

Jason Wilson, a local chef and restaurateur, recently announced that his restaurant in Bellevue, The Lakehouse, in now offering a weekend brunch.

The Lakehouse is what Wilson considers to be farmhouse cooking typical of the Northwest. Wilson promotes the restaurant as elegant yet comfortable, and sophisticated but also familiar. The atmosphere is one where he hopes his guests will consider it as a home away from home, where he can also offer his brand of craft cooking.

The menu will include farm-fresh ingredients from local farmers including Coffee Flour, Mad Hatcher Farms, and Frog Hollow Farms, and will offer both breakfast and lunch items.

Featured are Dungeness Crab and Avocado ‘Benedict’, Chocolate Coffee Flour Pancakes, and a grilled albacore tuna steak.

Spritzers are also offered that can be served in a nonalcoholic version, or a cocktail or mimosa, and with a selection of pear, mint, ginger, and grapefruit as flavors. A house-made mix is used to create the restaurant’s own Bloody Mary, which also includes fresh vegetables.

Brunch is served Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
