Intelligence professionals are planning a conference as part of an upcoming event in Springfield, due to take place next month.
The Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) will be presenting their Spring Intelligence Symposium in April. The symposium is set to be a two-day event for professionals in the intelligence community. It also provides an opportunity for networking, learning about the major intelligence challenges facing the country, and professional development.
The discussions at the conference will reflect the Intelligence Community’s assessment of the current environment and the policies and capabilities needed to operate within it. The insights shared will also enable attendees to obtain a deeper perspective on evolving requirements for the intelligence community, and how partnerships can be used to approach them.
The agenda includes presentations on AI (artificial intelligence), diplomatic initiatives, and commercial partnering, among other subjects.
In addition, two award presentations are scheduled: the 2nd Annual Award for Excellence in Defense Scientific & Technical Intelligence, and the Charlie Allen Award for Distinguished Intelligence Service.
The conference has been scheduled for Tuesday, 1 and Wednesday, 2 April at the NGA (National Geospatial Intelligence Agency) Campus East, which can be found at 7500 GEOINT Drive in Springfield. Organizers of events like this may decide to use flyer printing to create agendas to hand out to symposium participants.
