The new year will start with a performance by a popular vocalist, who is set to appear at Vim & Victor in Springfield.
Brian Johnson realized that he was a talented singer when he was a child. He began performing at home, in school, in a show choir, and in church, using these backgrounds to shape his gift. From those early beginnings, he has built a successful career. He is noted for performing the National Anthem as part of the opening ceremonies of local sports organizations. He has also appeared at Washington, D.C.’s annual Cherry Blossom Festival three times, in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
Johnson has performed as frontman for several bands and other musical groups, including RadioNV, a group he co-founded in 2014 with Tim Campbell. The acoustic band has been gigging throughout Northern Virginia, playing a mix of pop, R&B, country, and rock.
In addition to his career as a vocalist, Johnson is a consultant, producer, guitarist, and screenwriter. He released his music on streaming platforms, where he is known as “Azure Vox,” and has works available under his own name.
