County officials made it clear that the format they eventually decide on will depend on how well the pandemic is being managed. The five options being considered are:
- All students return to campus and operate under new safety guideline
- A clearly structured online learning program that includes daily class schedules more like a normal school day
- Interrupted attendance, where students are at school for several months with interruptions for home learning
- Hybrid learning, where students alternate between learning at home and learning at school
- Parallel learning, where one section of the student body attends classes in person while others learn from home, with no alternating.
