A Mount Vernon event mixes a little history with the celebration of local winemakers at the Spring Wine Festival and Sunset Tour.
The wine festival is reported to be the most popular event held at Mount Vernon each year. Attendees enjoy tours of the wine cellar at the museum and historic home, along with music, food and beautiful views. A visit from actors portraying the first President and his wife is scheduled, and the live performances will include a variety of musical styles.
Wineries from across the state of Virginia contribute their best to the annual festival. This is an opportunity for business owners seeking out locally made wine choices for Corporate Gifts for their clients.
