Cultural festival returns to Old Town

The Around the World Cultural Food Festival will be returning to Old Town Alexandria in late August. Over 30,000 people are expected to attend.

The educational and cultural event will be free, and guests can enjoy traditional fare sold by restaurants that will be showcasing, teaching, and educating about their cultures through food. Only one food vendor will be allowed per country.

Various countries’ performing arts, from dance and vocals to pantomime and theatre, will be live on stage throughout the event. Ethnic crafters and artisans will be onsite selling merchandise that represents their country. Cultural organizations and embassies will have representatives providing information about their locations, programs, and mission statements.

Stationery printers often use pictures of dancers in brightly colored costumes from around the world in their note card sets, and in Stationery Letterheads.

International Cultural and Education Development Fund presents Around the World Cultural Food Festival annually, supporting its initiatives to promote educational development in culture, arts, and humanities, and to preserve cultural and artistic heritage.

Sponsorships include onsite signage, company name in the event’s program, and Logo Design and linkage to the sponsor’s home page on the event’s website.

The Around the World Cultural Food Festival will be Saturday, August 26 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at on the waterfront at Oronoco Bay Park, 100 Madison Street, in Old Town Alexandria. This event will take place rain or shine.
