Organizers have announced the details of the festival and the nominees for the 10th Annual World Music & Independent Film Festival.
Interested attendees have a couple of options for the festival. Tickets have become available for the luncheon gala or awards show only. The luncheon includes a menu of light pasta and salad choices. A pre-gala interview session will begin at 10:00 AM.
The viewer's ticket includes the opportunity to attend the gala, see all the nominees and watch the awards ceremony. Special guest performers entertain the audience between each award. A meet and greet also takes place after the ceremony, as well as a dance with a live DJ. Aspiring artists that hope to break into the entertainment industry can bring along their Business Cards, as the party also enables people to network and there are likely to be previous winners in attendance.
The Music and Film Festival is on Saturday, January 12 at the Hilton Crystal City at 2399 Jefferson Davis Highway in Arlington. The pre-gala event begins at 10:00 AM, the luncheon is at noon and the award ceremony lasts from 1:00 to 5:45 PM.
Ticket prices are $99 for the ceremony and luncheon, $35 for the festival only. The official World Music & Independent Film Festival also includes information about hotel and parking rates.
