The Earth and Science Center at Tyler Junior College (TJC) will be hosting its “Love Under the Stars” event for the 14th year later this month.
Director of the science center, Dr. Beau Hartweg, said that the show this year will love stories about the constellations and the mythology behind them. Hartweg added that also included in the program under the dome of 40 feet will be a virtual tour through the solar system and throughout the universe that were motivated by romance and a look at the constellations that can be seen in the sky at night.
Tickets are available only for those 21 years of age and older and are $95 per couple. The ticket price includes dinner for two which students of the Culinary Arts program at TJC will prepare, beverages, an outdoor, telescopic viewing, full-dome planetarium show, a commemorative photo, and a gift basket. Only one ticket per couple needs to be purchased.
Hartweg said that this event is a popular one and sells out every year so those who are interested should purchase their tickets early.
Poster printing can be used to promote such unique and special events throughout a college campus.
“Love Under the Stars” will take place at the Earth and Space Science Center at TJC on Friday February 14 and Saturday February 15 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
