This is part of the ERP’s national Campaign for Business and Education Excellence. The schools named were Birdwell Dual Language Immersion School, Early College High School, Owens Elementary School, and Andy Woods Elementary School. The analysis used by ERP is based on results from the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, with data from test scores from 2023 through 2025.

Schools that consistently exhibit outstanding academic performance and sustained progress are recognized by the Texas Honor Roll. Superintendent Dr. Marty Crawford said:
“This recognition reflects the high expectations and strong instructional practices across Tyler ISD.”
He expressed his pride in the campus leaders, teachers, and students whose are commitment to excellence in academics continues to result in significant outcomes for the community.
Georgeanna Jones, principal of Andy Woods Elementary School, said that this recognition means a great deal to the school as it reflects the dedication and hard work of everyone in the school family. Jones added that all successes are shared in the community and everyone together is celebrating being named to the ERP Honor Roll.
