Tyler college offers special spring term courses

The second spring term of eight weeks will be starting in the middle of March at Tyler Junior College (TJC). This will be a condensed session during which students will be able to complete a course worth full credit in half the time of a regular semester.

These courses will be offered primarily online, with some options for in-person sessions. Among the subjects that will be offered will be statistics, English, criminal justice, and Texas government. More information about such courses and other offerings can be made available with brochure printing.

The Apache Enrollment Center (AEC) will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and until 7:00pm on Thursdays to offer personal assistance to students. This spring term will begin on Monday, March 18.

TJC will also be holding Spring Preview Day so potential students can learn more about the 115 certificate and degree programs offered by the college. There will be open house events about technical and workforce training programs and the healthcare program offered at TJC. Potential students will also be able to submit their financial aid documents and apply for admission. Spring Preview Day will be held on Saturday, April 13 from 1:00 to 4:00pm.

Registration for May, summer, and fall will begin on Sunday, April 14 with advising sessions to be held every day in the Rogers Student Center.
