The Institute for Evidence-Based Change (IEBC) has selected Tyler Junior College (TJC) as one of five community colleges in Texas as part of its student success efforts for the fall semester.
Teams from the college will be supported by guidance and coaching from the IEBC to help staff and faculty to better support and connect with students to enable them to reach their educational goals. TJC specifically will be looking to improve student satisfaction and success by formalizing and reinforcing work that is currently underway at the college to service students and to deepen their culture.
TJC will also provide a toolkit for staff and faculty to create an environment that values students as important and unique members of the college community and to focus on their feelings of their connectedness, belonging, and worth. Local Print shops often get involved in creating such toolkits as they typically include Brochures and other printed materials.
President and CEO of IEBC, Brad Phillips, said that the goal is to increase the overall success of students by implementing behaviors that lead to shifts in culture on campus. Dr. Juan E. Mejia, President and CEO of TJC, said the college is honored to be part of this work that will enable the students to be successful in their years in college and later in life. He expressed his excitement about beginning the collaboration with IEBC. Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Print
