Those who are interested in attending Tyler Junior College (TJC) will be able to visit the campus this month for Apache Preview Day.
The day will feature information sessions for scholarships and financial aid, career planning, housing, the TJC promise program, and steps for enrollment. Attendees will also be given tours of the main campus, be able to look at organizations and activities on campus, and will be able to meet with academic advisors, faculty, and deans.
Attendees will also be able to apply for admission and submit their documents for financial aid and admissions. All attendees will receive a TJC tee-shirt and an information packet. This often provides an opportunity for various printing services to create the materials needed for such packets.
Director of Admissions for TJC, Claire Mizell, said that this is a good time to start thinking about college. She added that Apache Preview Day is a half-day event that enables students to get a close look at the vibrant life on campus and the college’s many academic programs.
Apache Preview Day will be held on Saturday November 6 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on the college’s main campus. There will also be an open house for TJC West on the same day from 11:00 a.m. to noon at SSW Loop 323 prior to the rest of the events on Preview Day.
