New entertainment will be coming to the East Texas State Fair in Tyler later this month.
One of the new entertainers will be the magician, Sheldon Casavant. Director of Marketing, Cody Rosenbalm, said that Casavant’s performances in in the historic Mayfair building will mark the reopening of the building this year.
There will be a Sea Lion Splash show where sea lions will display their talents and skills by shooting hoops, balancing balls, dancing, and performing various stunts. The show will feature both South American and California sea lions and will be presented three times a day.
For a fast-paced and comedic show, there is the Timberwork’s Lumberjack Show, where two authentic lumberjacks face off in several competitions that include axe throwing, hot sawing, speed pole climbing, and chainsaw carving. There are also three opportunities a day to catch this show.
A whirlwind a cappella experience will be presented by The Sound Exchange, a five-member a cappella group that not only sings a mix of rock anthems, jazz, and soulful ballads, but also blends comedy with audience interactions for a combination of harmonies and hijinks.
Banner printing can be used to make attendees aware of such special performers and times of their appearances.
The East Texas State Fair will take place from September 21 through September 30.
