Happi Deason Byrne is the new director of the Apache Belles, the celebrated precision dance team of Tyler Junior College (TJC).
New positions often call for business card printing services.
Byrne is well known in the Tyler area and has over 25 years of experience in education. She is a member of the Apache Belles and has volunteered for the team for many years as a mentor and interview judge. She has served as the lead coordinator for the Apache Belle Gold program and organized and implemented the “Welcome Home” program for the team and their families. Given her administrative and leadership background, she will offer a fresh perspective for the team as they showcase talent on and off the field.
Associate vice provost for student affairs at TJC, Dr. Tim Drain, expressed his excitement about welcoming Byrne to the family at TJC. He said that Byrne is the ideal person for this role as she has a clear vision for the future of the Apache Bells and will provide the needed leadership for the program.
Byrne said that this thrilled and honored to take on the role of director for the Apache Belles. She added that the team has a history of excellence and that she is looking forward to working with these women who are very talented and to inspire them as dancers and continue the tradition.
Byrne will begin her new position this month.
