The first Women’s Leadership Summit will be taking place in The Colony later this year. It will be hosted by Versant Health, a managed vision care company.
Experts and professionals from a variety of industries will participate in the Summit, which is designed to build networks, develop and strengthen skills, inspire long-lasting change, and empower women. Print shops can be hired to create materials with more information about activities and events at such conferences.
Chief Executive Officer of Versant Health, Kirk Rothrock, expressed his pride in being able to partner with the LGPA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) and continue to help women feel comfortable in serving in leadership roles both on the golf course and in industry. He added that women who are in sports, business, and healthcare, and are leaders in the community, will be able to showcase their experiences at the summit.
In addition to the scheduled event programming, there will be opportunities for attendees to play golf with Gerina Piller and Emma Talley, who are professionals touring with the LPGA.
The summit will be held on October 1, just before the Volunteers of America Classic at Old American Golf Club. This is an LPGA tournament that will feature the best female golfers in the world in an event taking place over four days, where the winner will be awarded $1.3m.
