The city of The Colony will be holding an American Heroes Festival later this month.
Featured at this traditional event are live entertainment, fun for the entire family, attractions, and special ceremonies. Such special events can be promoted throughout a city with poster printing.
The festival will start at noon when the carnival opens. This will be at The Athletic Club on the south parking lot. Attendees will be able to grab a bite to eat from the many food trucks, which will include JBW Vending, Flaming Grill Barbeque, and Southern Soda Mix.
Throughout the day there will be talented groups from the area on the community stage including Emery Dunham, the Royal Tones Choir from Castle Hills Elementary, and The Young Company, with fan favorites highlighting the evening performances.
A special American Heroes Ceremony will be on the Main Stage at 5:45 pm to recognize those heroes for their support and dedication. All those who have served in the armed forces are invited to attend.
A silent auction will also be held with all proceeds supporting Operation Comfort Warriors and One Tribe Foundation. The silent auction is completely online. Bids will close at 6:00 pm.
The American Heroes Festival will be held on Saturday, November 14, starting at 12:00 noon. An All American Drone Show will take place at 8:00 pm and the festival closes at 10:00 pm.
