New pretzel store opens in The Colony

A new location of Ben’s Soft Pretzels is now welcoming hungry stomachs in The Colony in Grandscape on Grandscape Boulevard.

The store is inspired by the Amish community and offers pretzels free of nuts, dairy, eggs, and preservatives. Its pretzel mix is proprietary, and the pretzels are hand-rolled with salt imported from Germany. Consequently, the pretzels are close to twice the size of other soft pretzels.

The bakery also offers pretzel dogs that are all beef, pretzel bites, pretzel stix, and Pretzel Kloche with 11 different sauces for dipping including marinara, mustard, cheese, and a variety of sweet options. Local printing services can help with Flyers and other materials to inform residents of such new offerings in town.

Gary Freeman and his wife Latrice own and operate the bakery. Freeman had been looking for many years to start his own business. He owns operates other locations of Ben’s Pretzels at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Texas Motor Speedway, and at Will Rogers Memorial Center.

Freeman expressed his excitement about being able to bring Ben’s Soft Pretzels to everyone in the community. Speaking to QSR Magazine, he said that he will strive for excellence in his offerings and will only provide the community with the quality it deserves. He added his gratitude for the community support he has received so far and he is happy and proud at the response.
