Mediterranean restaurant comes to The Colony

Miznon, a Mediterranean restaurant, is now open in The Colony at The Shacks Dining and Dog Park on Windhaven Parkway.

The eatery spans 900 square feet and offers a dining experience of grab-and-go food items with a patio for outdoor seating. It also has an open kitchen so that diners can watch as their meals are made with locally sourced fresh ingredients. The result is authentic Mediterranean street food with a modern touch. The walls of the restaurant have an olive tone and feature chalk drawings with handwritten phrase in both English and Hebrew.

There are many options that come with the popular pita dishes served by the restaurant. An exclusive option is the bone-in pita, which is a specialty dish consisting of a lamb spare rib stew, slow-cooked and complemented with chili, pickles, onions, tahini, and sweet grapes. Such new eateries might consider looking to local Print shops to help them promote new locations in a city.

Miznon was established in Tel Aviv in 2011 by chef Eyal Shani and captures the spirit of the food culture of the city. Shani said that the goal is to bring a unique experience that will be loved by the people of the city, and will bring everyone together over authentic Mediterranean street food.

The hours of Miznon are from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
