The Ascendant LPGA golf tournament will be taking place at the end of this month at the Old America Golf Club in The Colony. This event will be co-sponsored by Volunteers of America and Ascendant National Title, the former of which will benefit from the event.
This tournament represents the greatest achievement in golfing for professional female athletes in the region. Jin Yong Ko, ranked as number one, will play along with Nelly Korda, ranked as number three, and Lydia Ko, ranked as number four.
The purse for the tournament has increased to $1.7m. The Golf Club expressed its excitement about partnering with such influential sponsors who look to elevate women in professional sports. In addition, such new partnerships often look to Logo Design to promote their collaboration.
Len Franco, President and CEO of Ascendant National Title, expressed his delight and honor at joining the family of the LPGA Tour as a co-title sponsor of the Ascendant LPGA golf tournament, which will benefit the Volunteers of America. Franco added that this was made possible by the support and vision of parent company Cypress Ascendant. He said that he is looking forward to empowering female athletes by hosting this world-class championship event.
This tournament will take place from Monday, September 26 through Sunday, October 2.
