What's Happening in Dallas, TX…

Location found for Dallas Greyhound bus terminal

After almost 70 years in downtown Dallas, the Greyhound bus terminal is moving to a new location in northwest Dallas adjacent to the Stemmons Corridor.

According to a release, the new intercity bus terminal will be on Harry Hines Boulevard in the 9700 block, which is opposite the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Bacman Station. The new facility will be the company’s primary travel hub for those moving in and out of the DFW region. Banner printing services help make new facilities stand out to the public.

The Bachman Station is home base for the Orange and Green Lines and by placing the new Greyhound station across from it, connectivity to Dallas Love Field, DFW Airport, Fair Park, Deep Ellum and downtown Dallas will be facilitated. Additionally, the terminal will provide Greyhound and FlixBus riders with connections to many of the city’s suburbs.

The relocation of the city’s Greyhound terminal to its new facility is just the latest in Flix’s attempts to transform the Greyhound brand. Greyhound was acquired by Flix SE in 2021 and has since modernized its fleet, creating a data-driven technology platform to facilitate measurable improvements in efficiency, reliability and customer experience.

Also located on the same block as the new Greyhound facility are the Dallas Water Utilities building, the headquarters for the Dallas Police Department Northwest and a Greyhound Bus maintenance facility.

The current Greyhound terminal will remain operational until the new Greyhound terminal opens in late September 2025.
