New York-based art & design fair to make Dallas debut
The Salon Art + Design fair will bring its very first road show version from New York City to Dallas this spring.
Founded in 2012, Salon Art + Design is considered the premier event for collectible design and art and features exhibitors from throughout the U.S. as well as Europe. The event’s executive director Nicky Dessources explained the differences between the event in New York City and the one to take place in Dallas to Culture Map Dallas saying:
While banners can be useful in promoting events in some cases poster printing services can be more effective.
An exhibitor list is being curated for the March event which will be held at the Block House in downtown Dallas’s East Quarter district in the spot formerly occupied by the Masonic Temple. Up to 40 booths will be included in the upcoming Dallas Salon Art + Design fair with displays featuring art, ceramics, furniture, jewelry and studio glass.
While the Dallas fair will be similar to the New York version there will be a difference in exhibitors with the local event which will have its own unique Dallas flair. The Salon Art + Design event will take place March 26-30.

“We’re looking into a little more fine art than in New York. It won’t be as contemporary…[with] more vintage but a strong balance. We will have jewelry, as in New York, and there are some local designers that I would like to incorporate.”
