DFW Airport food and drink rated best in U.S.

Restaurant Furniture, a commercial furniture manufacturer has concluded that among the nation’s busiest airports the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport offers the best dining experience.

Counting only those restaurants and bars with a minimum of 20 Google reviews for the 2025 study, the combined average for food and beverage establishments at DFW Airport was 3.56 of 5 stars. This was the best among the country’s 31 busiest airports.

In all, 74 locations at DFW were included in the study which found the highest score was garnered by its Terminal A Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen with a Google review average of 4.59. DFW is also able to lay claim to the most highly rated Panda Express, McDonald’s, IHOP, and Panera Bread among the airports that were analyzed.

The approach to signage used to direct foot-traffic is different depending on the size of the venue; printing services can determine the most effective sign size and locations.

The Restaurant Furniture study was released on the heels of another study conducted by BetUS, an online sports betting website, which ranked the TGI Fridays at DFW to be the country’s No.1 best airport bar.

Adding to the Dallas airport’s favorable culinary ranking will be the introduction of two locations of the North Carolina based Peach Cobbler Factory opening in Terminals D and C Pier in late 2025 and in 2026.

DFW was ranked the second-busiest U.S. airport as well as the third busiest globally with 87.8 million passengers in 2024.
