This summer, Delta Air Lines will grow the number of flights from Dallas’s Love Field to its hub cities, thereby providing one-stop access to more than 125 U.S. cities.
In the process of increasing the number of seats this summer on Delta flights originating from Texas, the carrier is intorducing brand new daily flights to California, New York, and Georgia. Dallas’s increase in Delta air traffic is mirroring that of other major Lone Star state cities.
After having successfully gaining a permanent home-gate, Gate 11, at Love Field, the airline will be offering two services per day to both LAX and New York-LGA. Plus, the number of daily flights to Atlanta will increase to a total of five per day. The Senior Vice President of Network Planning for Delta, Joe Esposito, said:
“These new routes that will operate from a Delta-dedicated gate signal the continuation of Delta’s ongoing investments in Texas and our commitment to serving this community with flights to their top destinations.”
Between DAL and DFW, Delta will be handling nearly 40 departures per day to eight destinations and will be the only airline to provide service to Los Angeles and New York City from both Dallas airports.
