The Downtown Austin Alliance and a local radio station will present the 31st annual Holiday Sing-Along and Stroll to kick off the season and foster Christmas spirit.
The alliance is an Austin organization whose mission is to enhance and preserve a diverse and vibrant downtown for all to enjoy. Values important to the alliance include inclusivity and accessibility. The alliance works to reduce homelessness, advocate for public safety and sponsors a number of annual cultural events designed to create a positive downtown vibe. It also operates a non-profit foundation that assists underserved downtown residents.
Next month’s free family holiday celebration will feature live music, local artisan and food vendors, photos with Santa and a countdown to the Capital tree lighting. As many as 5000 people of all ages gather each year to sing carols and stroll the streets enjoying holiday treats.
The Central Texas Food Bank will be on hand to collect non-perishable food items and donations for those in need. To present the holiday celebration, the alliance relies on sponsors. Businesses who get involved as sponsors of community events such as this, often have local Print shops provide their Logo Design services.
The Holiday Sing-Along and Stroll will be held in downtown Austin December 6, 2025, starting at 5 pm. The events will take place downtown on Congress Avenue between 8th and 11th streets.
